The old village of Aylesford hosts two excellent restaurants, Sherlocks and The Hengist both famed for their individual styles of cuisine. There are three public houses, one being the smallest hostelery in the county of Kent, along with various small businesses.

Though the village itself hosts just a post office, newsagents, and ladies hair salon, there are excellent shopping facilities in nearby Quarrywood, just 5 minutes drive away and within walking distance for those who see fit to walk. Doctors, hospitals, dentist and a vet are also within the Aylesford area, together with an excellent choice of sporting facilities.

The main line railway station is only a short distance from the development and provides a regular service to London Bridge. Ashford international station which offers regular services to the continent via Eurostar can be accessed via Eurostar which can be reached in about 30 minutes via the M20 motorway, J5 of which is within 2 miles and links with the national motorway network and cross channel ferry links available from Dover.
